SHOW & TELL - WHAT I VOW TO NEVER NAME A CHILD

Kev was perusing his vast baseball card collection tonight and shared the funnier cards with me. I must say, this one topped even Oil Can Boyd.

Really? Dick Pole? I bet he had to endure years of kids' mocking. At least he made it to the big leagues!

Way to go, Dick Pole!

Be sure to check out what the other kids brought this week for show & tell.

Hee, hee, hee. I feel like I'm back in middle school.

Poor guy - plus I just googled him and found out that his middle name is Harry. lol... just kidding - it's Henry, but that would have been freakin' hilarious.

I just showed my husband, who's sitting next to me, and he said straight-faced, "Yeah, Dick Pole. He's a pitching coach now."

He didn't giggle like I did, but he admits to chuckling over the name years ago.

Haw Haw Haw! What were the poor guy's parents thinking.... Look, he is such a Dick...OMG, our baby would be called Pole, he has to be a big one...hmm, what do we name him...I pick D , you want to end with K ....oh, we cannot call him Duck, coz it would be so funny. Let's call him safely as Dick!
